相同外径不同壁厚管对接焊缝的超声波检测技术研究

外径相同但壁厚不同的管对接焊缝,在进行超声波检测时,按常规单面双侧检测需根据壁厚选择检测工艺,按薄壁管厚度检测,不满足厚壁管要求;按厚壁管壁厚检测,不满足薄壁管要求,易出现漏检.为此,文中采用5P6×6×2K2.5F5和2P6×6K1.5F10这2种探头分别在焊缝两侧进行检测,然后通过机械打磨的方式来验证缺陷的位置和大小.结果表明:采用2种不同K值探头在薄壁一侧进行检测,所得到的缺陷位置及大小与实际情况基本一致.
Research on ultrasonic testing technology for butt welds of pipes with same outer diameter and different wall thickness
The butt welds of pipes with the same outer diameter but different wall thickness were tested by ultrasonic according to the conventional unilateral and bilateral detection,and the detection process should be selected according to the wall thickness.While detection based on the thickness of thin-walled pipe did not meet the requirements of thick-walled pipe,and it was easy to miss detection.For this purpose,5P6x6x2K2.5F5 and 2P6x6Kl.5F10 probes were utilized to detect on both sides of the weld respectively in the paper.Then the position and size of defects were verified after mechanical grinding.The results showed that the location and size of defects obtained by using two different K probes on the thin wall were basically consistent with the actual situation.
