Study on mechanical properties and residual stress variation of railway carbon steel car body under different flame adjustment times
Carbon steel car body is an important part of railway transportation system, its safety performance is directly related to the safety and stability of railway transportation. As a common vehicle body maintenance method, the increase of flame repair may affect the mechanical properties and residual stress of the vehicle body. Therefore, this study aimed to explored the mechanical properties and residual stress changes of carbon steel car body under different flame adjustment and repair times through experiments and analysis and provided theoretical support for the safe operation of railway carbon steel car body. After surface cleaning and marking, the tensile strength of carbon steel car body under different flame adjustment times was obtained by tensile property test.At the same time,X-ray diffraction technique was used to analyze the residual stress of carbon steel car body under different flame adjustment times, and the distribution and variation of residual stress were obtained. The experimental results showed that the mechanical property parameters of carbon steel car body vary with different flame adjustment times. The tensile strength and ductility of carbon steel car body might change with the increase of flame repair times. The results of residual stress analysis showed that the residual stress distribution of carbon steel car body was different under different flame repair times, and with the increase of flame repair times, the variation of residual stress also showd certain characteristics.
