Research on the microstructure and properties of laser cladding 1Cr0.5Mo alloy on the surface of 12Cr steel
12Cr steel has been widely used in ultra supercritical units due to its excellent high temperature creep strength and good resistance to steam oxidation. To ensure the wear resistance of the journal area,a layer of 1Cr0.5Mo alloy needs to be prepared on the surface. However, conventional processes such as submerged arc welding are prone to defects such as microcracks. In this paper, laser cladding technology was adopted to melt 1Cr0.5Mo alloy on the surface of 12Cr steel, and the microstructure and properties of the cladding layer were studied.Through component analysis,PT testing, microscopic metallographic observation, hardness measurement and tensile testing of laser cladding samples, the feasibility of laser cladding technology in ensuring the surface wear resistance of 12Cr steel was preliminarily verified.
