Study on the mechanical properties of CFRP-aluminum alloy joints with different connection modes
In order to further study the influence of connection methods on the mechanical properties of carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP)-aluminum alloy joint, the mechanical properties of CFRP base metal,CFRP-aluminum alloy bonding joint,CFRP-aluminum alloy screw joint and CFRP-aluminum alloy induction welded joint were analyzed by tensile test and shear test. The results showed that the CFRP base metal and the adhesive sample were elastic deformation when stretched, and no necking occured. When the screw was connected, the aluminum alloy broke first, and the fracture had obvious necking phenomenon. The cohesion failure of CFRP occurred during welding.
