Large network platforms have a significant impact on users'personal information and inter-platform competition through data aggregation. On the one hand, large platforms have the duty to regulate activities within their platforms based on the asymmetry in their resources and status;on the other hand, there is a risk of abuse of"digital power"by large platforms, which should be subjected to enhanced regulation. The"gatekeeper"system of online platforms imposes certain aggravating obligations on some large platforms, which helps to optimize the regulatory systems of online platforms in China.China's existing online platform"gatekeeper"system presents fragmentation in legislation, ignoring the organic connection of various department laws in online platform supervision. In addition, the irrationality of existing platform classification and grading system may easily trigger disputes over the identification criteria of"gatekeepers".In order to improve the"gatekeeper"system of China's online platforms,it is necessary to innovate the concept of supervision, strengthen collaboration between regulation of anti-monopoly and protection of personal information on online platforms, establish scientific platform classification and grading standards, promote pluralistic and stereoscopic supervision,so as to realize the effective governance and promote the healthy development of online platforms.
