Wang Ju,a native of Baocheng County,Hanzhong in the late Qing Dynasty, once acted as a member of the Ministry of hubu, and long held the schoolmaster of Hannan Academy in his later years. It was found that two letters of Wang Ju wrote home(hanzhong),the contents which revolved around the marriage of his eldest daughter, and also involved the difficult mental journey of Wang Ju in his early years staying in Beijing, was the epitome of Beijing officials's life of people from hanzhong in the late Qing Dynasty. At present, the academic circle has not paid enough attention to Wang Ju,only a few scholars have studied him,and mainly focused on his outstanding contribution to the education in Hanzhong, and seldom talked about his early life in Beijing.Through the multi-dimensional research of the two letters,it can be clarified the correct time of Wang Ju's letter and his early official status in Beijing, which can not only give a glimpse of the poor life on officials in the late Qing Dynasty, but also understand the difficulty of being an official in Beijing, and make up deficiency of history.
