In recent years,clean energy has developed rapidly in China's power sector,and the power supply structure of the domestic power grid has undergone significant changes,which gradually increases the flexibility requirements for thermal power generator sets.The participation of energy storage in AGC auxiliary frequency regulation of conventional thermal power generation units can improve the level of auxiliary services for power generation units,enhance the frequency regulation capacity of power grid,and increase the revenue of power plants.This paper takes as an example the AGC frequency regulation project of energy storage auxiliary thermal power unit in a northwest power plant,and proposes a scheme of AGC frequency regulation integrated coordination control system for energy storage auxiliary units.Through coordinated control with multiple systems of thermal power units,the system achieves centralized coordination and fast power control of the AGC frequency regulation system of energy storage auxiliary thermal power units,thereby improving the AGC regulation ability of thermal power units,enhancing the comprehensive frequency regulation performance index K value of power units,and improving the AGC frequency regulation performance and market competitiveness of generator sets,in order to provide reference for similar projects.
