In the substation reconstruction and expansion project,the construction site conditions of the underground water pool structure such as the accident oil collection pond are limited,and the excavation of the foundation pit easily affects the surrounding buildings and structures.In view of this,the paper proposes a construction technology of open caisson for accident oil collection pond,which can be used in the new construction,renovation and expansion of substation projects of various voltage levels.This construction technology is used to design the emergency oil gathering pond as a wellbore structure;the pond wall is constructed and the soil is excavated by the sinking caisson method.The soil friction resistance is overcome by the self-weight of the well wall,and the bottom is finally sealed at the designed elevation of the pond wall,with the top plate and other auxiliary facilities of the accident oil gathering pond constructed.The caisson method for accident oil gathering pond has the advantages of low construction safety risk,small construction operation surface,no need for additional foundation pit support,little influence on adjacent structures,etc.In a substation expansion project in Xinjiang,the proposed caisson construction technology for accident oil gathering pond has been successfully applied,which has shortened the construction period and produced relatively higher economic benefits.
