Karst groundwater resources are the important basis for economic development in Southwest China. The evalua-tion of anti-fouling performance of karst groundwater is an effective method for rational development and protection of lo-cal groundwater resources. The Wangjia well is now the water intake of the water plant in the eastern suburbs of Guiyang City.It is an important water supply source in the region. The evaluation of groundwater anti-fouling performance in the region is helpful to ensure the safety of drinking water sources for residents. In this paper, the vulnerability of karst groundwater in Wangjia Well Spring Area in Guizhou province was quantitatively evaluated by considering five influen-cing factors:protective cover(P),land use(L),epikarst development degree(E),infiltration conditions(I)and karst network development(K)through PLEIK model. The results show that the groundwater antifouling performance in the study area is mainly good and medium, accounting for 23.69% and 42.11% of the total area, respectively. The areas with poor and good antifouling performance accounted for 18.54%and 15.53% of the total area, respectively. The area with poor antifouling performance accounts for at least 0.13% of the total area. The surface karst zone, aquifer karst network and land use type are the main factors affecting the antifouling performance of karst groundwater in this area. The research results can provide some reference for groundwater environmental protection and pollution prevention in this area.
