Load Recovery Strategy for the Islanded Distribution Network Regarding Load Supply Continuity
After the fault of the superior transmission network, the distribution network can rely on distributed power generation to maintain operation. When the distribution of power output fluctuations is difficult to stabilize,it is neces-sary to stabilize the fluctuations by switching loads, which will cause non-critical loads to be frequently put in or cut out of the power grid.At the same time,it leads to a large number of single-time or double-period short-term power supply scenarios, which further reduces the reliability of non-essential load power supply. With this problem,a load recovery optimization method of distribution network considering load power supply continuity was proposed.Starting from the perspective of a single load, the objective function was constructed by introducing a single load power supply continuity index, and the constraint construction model such as power flow, network topology, and connectivity were taken into account,so that non-essential loads can also be continuously supplied as much as possible to improve continuous relia-bility of power supply. The PG&E69 node power distribution system was used as an example, the model results showed a significant improvement in power supply continuity compared with the traditional recovery. The introduction of power supply continuity parameters makes load recovery more continuous, and greatly reduces the short-term power supply problem caused by distributed power fluctuations.
