Hybrid HVDC circuit breaker is one of the key equipment of DC power grid,and complete type test is an important means to ensure its fast and reliable fault current clearing and fault recovery.In order to better the equivalent hybrid de circuit breaker breaking and fault recovery in the process of high voltage and high current conditions,this pa-per studies the equivalence evaluation indexes of the whole reclosing process in the case of tripping current and fault clearance process failure of hybrid DC circuit breaker,and proposes a new series of full synthetic equivalent total pres-sure test method.With the proper control mode,the scheme can realize the equivalent of the test in all working condi-tions without increasing the control complexity,and reduce the cost of the test by efficient reuse of capacitor banks.In this scheme,the test circuit is made up of a high-current circuit and a high-voltage circuit in series,through which the high-current circuit alone provides the breaking current,and after the breaker is broken,the high-voltage test circuit is put into the high-voltage test circuit,and the two circuits act together to provide the steady-state voltage and reclosing secondary current after the opening.We verified the feasibility of the test loop by conducting opening and reclosing ex-periments on 4 kV/8 kA circuit breakers,and compared this test circuit with existing synthetic test circuit for 500 kV/25 kA circuit breakers.The results show that the total pressure flow all tandem synthetic test method has ad-vantages in terms of equivalence,simplicity of secondary control and economy,which provides an alternative to the e-quivalent test of DC circuit breaker in all working conditions.
