The Application Risks and Preventive Measures of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Criminal Investigation
In criminal investigation,generative AI assists investigative departments in case classification and assessment,validates testimonial evidence during interrogations,identifies su-spects,and aids in tracking illicit funds.However,current applications of generative AI still face challenges such as ambiguous accountability,algorithmic biases,data security concerns,and eth-ical and moral risks.To effectively mitigate the risks associated with the use of generative AI in criminal investigations,public security departments need to establish and refine governance fra-meworks,build multi-stakeholder governance structures,and establish dedicated regulatory bod-ies for generative AI.
