The Application of Big Data in the Governance of Cybercrime in the New Era
As Internet application thriving,cybercrime has been updated into a new gener-ation,with new types of crimes emerging.In recent years,new characteristics of cybercrime pre-sented,such as:cross-border crimes grew rapidly,criminal organization proliferated,the grey in-dustry chain expanded and updated.In the meantime,the data industry has gradually become a dominant industry supporting China's development,and has shown significant value in the gov-ernance decision-making,prediction and prevention and investigation of cybercrime.But,in practice,there are dilemmas in application of big data in the governance of cybercrime,such as insufficient utilization of data resources,imperfect cybersecurity protection,and inadequate in-ternational cooperation.To optimize the application of big data in the governance of cybercrime,firstly,we should optimize resource integration and improve data resource utilization;Secondly,we should promote diversified governance and safeguard data security jointly;Thirdly,we should grasp the strategic opportunity and continue to deepen international cooperation.
