Research on the Current Status and Effectiveness Evaluation of Water-saving Society Construction in Hebei Province
Implementing the policy of water saving priority is and will be the guiding principle for wa-ter management in China.The principal component analysis method and data comparison were used to study the effectiveness and influencing factors of water-saving society construction in Hebei Province.Some suggestions were put forward.It was found that the evaluation index of water conservation effective-ness in Hebei Province was at the middle and upper level,and the main factors affecting the water use of various industries included the effective irrigation area,cement and coke yield,completed area of residen-tial buildings,and the green coverage of built-up areas,etc.Some suggestions were put forward based on the water-saving status,such as optimizing and adjusting the structure of crop varieties,developing effi-cient water-saving irrigation,adjusting the industrial structure,eliminating backward production capacity,building smart water management platforms,and improving publi'c awareness of water conservation.
