Simulation of Residual Chlorine Decay in Water Supply Network Based on Hydraulic Model
In order to understand and master the variation of residual chlorine attenuation in water sup-ply network and ensure the safety of water quality,a dynamic model of residual chlorine attenuation was established to simulate the decay trend of residual chlorine in water supply network of a district in Tianjin. The decay reaction coefficient of residual chlorine in the model was determined by the decay coefficient of total residual chlorine in the pipe network, the decay coefficient of residual chlorine in the main water of the pipe network and the decay coefficient of residual chlorine in the pipe wall water. The checking of the model coefficients can be divided into two aspects. On the one hand, the main water reaction coefficient of the pipe network is checked and determined to be 0.265d-1;on the other hand, the attenuation coefficient of residual chlorine in the pipe wall is checked. The checking is made by combining particle swarm optimi-zation with the modeling software EPANET2.0,and the water quality model is finally determined when the iteration number is 100 and the particle size is 30.The effect is the best.Through the establishment of residual chlorine decay model of water supply network in this area, the decay trend of residual chlorine can be monitored in real time,so that water supply enterprises can carry out water quality evaluation and auxiliary dispatching maintenance and management work.
