Study on seismic performance of CFRP constrained fabricated double column pier based on reinforcement hysteretic model
In this paper,the seismic performance of slotted double column pier restrained by CFRP is studied.The pier model considering the cyclic degradation effect of reinforcement is established by using ABAQUS software,and the influ-ence of CFRP thickness and restraint range on the seismic performance of pier is analyzed.Under the action of trans-verse seismic load,the double column pier is bent and damaged,and the concrete in the plastic hinge area of the founda-tion and bent cap is crushed.With the increase of CFRP thickness,the passive restraint of concrete is strengthened,the seismic performance indexes such as yield load,ultimate load and energy dissipation of pier are improved,and the resid-ual displacement is reduced;The seismic performance of CFRP confined in plastic hinge area is significantly better than that confined in non plastic hinge area.
