Preparation and sustained-release performance of sweet orange flavor microcapsules
In order to improve the sustained-release performance of essence microcapsules and utilization rate of essence, the thermal control essence microcapsules(egHDI-O)were prepared by interfacial polymerization using sweet orange essence as the core material, hexamethylene diisocyanate(HDI)trimer as the monomer of synthetic wall material, and polyethylene glycol(PEG)and graphene(GR)as the thermal control materials. The effects of core wall ratio, speed of the shearing emulgifier and thermal control components on the morphology, composition, core material content and sustained-release performance of sweet orange essence microcapsules were investigated. The results show that the egHDI-O prepared with the sweet orange essence microcapsule core wall ratio of 1∶2,the rotate speed of 8 000 r/min,the emulsifier of Tween 80,the dosage of PEG and GR of 200 g/L and 5 g/L,respectively,has good morphology and uniform particle size, and its core material content reaches 74%;Compared to microcapsules without PEG and GR,egHDI-O has excellent thermal control performance. This study provides a new idea for the development of new thermal control sustained-release fragrance materials.
