We optimized the decoloring process of the polysaccharide from Ficus carica L. by macroporous resin. U-sing the dry fruit of Ficus carica L. as a raw material,we prepared the crude polysaccharide from Ficus carica L. by hot water extraction, and obtained crude polysaccharide powder using freeze-dry method after protein removal by Sevage rea-gent and ethanol precipitation. Using decolorization rate and polysaccharide retention rate as indexes,we screened the op-timal resin and the optimal conditions of decoloring process as follows:choosing LSD-296 as the optimal resin, the dosage of resin of 2. 0 g,the concentration of polysaccharide solution of 4 mg·mL-1 ,pH value of 6,and the decoloring tempera-ture of 40 ℃. This study provides the basis for the separation and purification of polysaccharide from Ficus carica L. .
