Infrared Fingerprint Spectra Analysis of Matricaria chamomilla L.Based on Dual-Index Sequence Analysis and Cluster Analysis
We collected infrared spectra and second derivative infrared spectra of Matricaria chamomilla L.from different temperatures, different parts, and different batches by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and evaluated different batches of Matricaria chamomilla L.by infrared spectra and second derivative infrared spectra combined with dual-index sequence analysis and cluster analysis. The results show that 19 common peaks are identified from the infrared spectra of Matricaria chamomilla L.,and the characteristic peaks of samples vary under different temperatures, indicating that temperature may affect flavonoids, esters, and glyco-sides from Matricaria chamomilla L..The infrared spectra of flowers and stems of Matricaria chamomilla L.have certain similarities and differences.According to the intensity of characteristic absorption peak,it is specu-lated that the contents of flavonoids and phenolic acids in flowers are higher. The peaks and intensities of differ-ent batches of Matricaria chamomilla L.have certain similarities and differences. The second derivative infra-red spectra can separate some overlapping absorption peaks in the infrared spectra. The common peak rates of different batches of Matricaria chamomilla L.samples are 60.00%-100.00%,and the variant peak rates are 0.00-47.62%.When the Euclidean distance is 5-10,sixteen batches of Matricaria chamomilla L.can be clustered into 3 categories, among which S1,S4,S5,S6,S7,S10,and S12 are clustered into one category;S3,S8,S9,S11,S13,S15,and S16 are grouped into one category;S2 and S14 are categorized into one category. This method analyzes and evaluates the differences of Matricaria chamomilla L.herbs from different angles, which has certain feasibility and provides a new method for the quality control of medicinal herbs.
