Discussion and Research on Improving the Core Competence of Young Engineering Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges
With the rise of vocational undergraduate and double high programs,major vocational colleges have put forward new standards and requirements for teachers'abilities to ensure the improvement of school running level.In order to improve the core competence of vocational engineering professional teachers,this paper explains the connotation of teachers'abilities and the characteristics of engineering majors,analyzes the existing problems and challenges and opportunities faced by young engineering teachers in higher vocational colleges,discusses the strategies to improve teachers'core competence from five aspects:self-planning,information intelligent technology,teaching,scientific research and practical innovation,and providing suggestions for teacher competence evaluation and continuous improvement,provide a new perspective for the improvement of young engineering teachers'core competence in higher vocational colleges.
