The Dilemma and Breakthrough of Enhancing the Employment Guidance Service Ability of University Counselors
Research has found that the responsibilities and roles of university counselors in employment guidance services have been recognized at the national policy level.However,due to various realistic factors,the enhancement of counselors'employment guidance service capabilities has encountered difficulties.This is specifically reflected in the inadequate pre-service professional education,limited accumulation of post-service professional capital,lack of growth interaction mechanisms,and limited and low-quality offline training and learning opportunities.It is suggested to reform the evaluation and promotion system of university counselor titles and ranks,to mobilize the university counselors'professional identity;to scientifically design the training system for university counselors'employment guidance services,to facilitate the effective development of their professional capabilities;to establish peer interaction and growth mechanisms,and to create a supportive environment for the development of university counselors'employment guidance service capabilities.These measures aim to enhance the university counselors'capabilities and enable them to effectively contribute to the promotion of college students'employment in practical settings.
