Exploration of Teaching Reform in English Majors Listening Course Guided by Metacognitive Strategies
Metacognitive strategies are based on psychological thinking to promote educational guidance,strengthen students'ability to learn and apply course knowledge,and make students more precise in controlling the learning process and results.The teaching of English listening courses guided by metacognitive strategies should not only analyze the educational significance but also explore the educational function of metacognitive strategies,clarify the educational problems in the teaching of English listening courses in the new era,and use three strategies:strengthening planning strategy education guidance,strengthening monitoring strategy teaching evaluation,and deepening regulation strategy learning layout to expand the new path of English listening course teaching reform,improve the quality of listening teaching for English majors based on metacognitive strategies in the new era.
