Exploration on the Educational Model of Ideological and Political Education for College Students under the Academy System
In October 2019,the"Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Deepening the Reform of Undergraduate Education and Teaching to Comprehensively Improve the Quality of Talent Cultivation"clearly proposed:to accelerate the construction of the ideological and political work system in universities,promote the formation of the"three comprehensive education"work pattern,actively promote the establishment of a college based student management model in universities,and carry out pilot work on the"one-stop"student community comprehensive management model.This document broadens the development direction and practical scope of the academy system with the goal of"three comprehensive education".According to the"2020 Report on the Development of Chinese Academies"by Xi'an Jiaotong University,a total of 97 universities have established 304 academies as of 2020,according to incomplete statistics.As an organizational design within the governance system of universities in China,academies are committed to"student-centered"and demonstrate strong vitality in student education management and education.
