Analysis on the Phenomenon of"Chinese Culture Aphasia"in Higher Vocational Public English Teaching
China's economic growth is accompanied by the increasingly frequent global exchanges,and more and more foreigners have a strong interest in China's long history and culture,which means that China's cultural soft power has gradually emerged in the international community,providing more opportunities for Chinese students to show and spread their own culture.However,there is a phenomenon of"Chinese culture aphasia"in the public English teaching of higher vocational colleges,and students cannot fully display our excellent culture in cross-cultural communication,which hinders the export of Chinese culture.In the English teaching in higher vocational colleges,we should actively strengthen the inheritance and promotion of local culture,solve the problem of"Chinese culture aphasia",so that students can be more comfortable in international communication,promote them to better show themselves on the international stage,and enhance students'sense of identity and pride in local culture.
