The Construction and Practice of Mathematical Modeling Course Cluster under the Model of"Competition and Course Integration"
Mathematical modeling emerged in tandem with the discipline of mathematics and is well known because of the mathematical modeling competition.It is not only one of the most influential competitions in China,but also one of the driving forces for the reform of mathematics education in China.The paper reviews the origin and development of mathematical modeling,analyzes the problems in the construction of mathematical modeling courses,and explores the reform model of mathematical modeling teaching based on"competition and course integration",which integrates mathematical modeling competition,mathematical modeling course construction and course thinking and government through the construction of course groups,organization of school competitions,and optimization of course contents,so as to promote teaching and learning through competitions.The course is designed to promote the teaching and learning of mathematical modeling,and to improve the students'literacy and innovation ability.
