A Study on the Teaching Strategies of"Telling Chinese Stories"in College English Listening and Speaking Courses under the POA Theory System
With the continuous development of China,"telling Chinese stories"has become an important channel to establish a healthy,three-dimensional,and real China image.As one of the compulsory subjects,college English listening and speaking courses have disciplinary advantages in cultivating students'speaking ability,global vision and cross-cultural ability.The local undergraduate college students where the author works generally have good English foundation and high learning enthusiasm,but there is also a common phenomenon of"Chinese cultural aphasia".In view of this,this paper intends to actively explore the practical path and teaching strategy of training college students to"tell Chinese stories"in English listening and speaking classes with the help of Production-oriented Approach(POA),to provide teaching reference and theoretical support for future related research.
