Research on the Training Strategies for Students'Intercultural Communicative Competence in Higher Vocational Colleges
This paper takes English teaching in higher vocational colleges as an example to mainly study the cultivation of intercultural communicative competence(ICC)among higher vocational college students.By elaborating on the importance of cultivating intercultural communicative competence among college students,this paper qualitatively analyzes the current situation of cultivating intercultural communicative competence among college students,and explores strategies for vocational colleges to cultivate students'intercultural communicative competence from the perspectives of teachers and schools.Research has found that teachers should stimulate students'interest in cross-cultural communication learning and cultivate habits of cultural exchange between the West and China.Besides,teachers should enrich teaching resources and carry out artificial intelligence assisted teaching.At the same time,teachers also need to improve their own cultural insights and cultivate cultural insights.Colleges and universities should develop diverse forms of teacher learning and training based on improving teachers'cross-cultural literacy and professional level.Furthermore,schools should also expand students'communication channels and broaden channels for cultivating their cross-cultural abilities.
