Strategies for the Development of Higher Vocational English Teaching in the Context of Cross-cultural Communication
In the era of rapid economic development,English learning is of great significance.It can effectively cultivate students'basic foreign language communication skills and also cultivate more outstanding talents for society.However,there is still a problem in current vocational English teaching where teachers fail to consider assisting students in employment as a standard and integrate cross-cultural communication teaching into their teaching based on knowledge and skills,which is not conducive to helping students quickly improve their English learning abilities.In this regard,this paper mainly analyzes the necessity of the development of vocational English teaching based on cross-cultural communication background,which includes implementing the requirements of national education strategy deployment,adapting to the trend of language and cultural integration development,proposing the principles of English teaching development under the cross-cultural communication background,and developing strategies such as teaching based on teaching materials,adhering to practical concepts,and using fresh teaching methods.
