Research on the Improvement of Media Literacy of Hearing-impaired Students
For hearing-impaired students with hearing impairment,media provides them with convenient ways to acquire knowledge,communicate with the world and participate in society.The media use of hearing-impaired students presents characteristics such as visual media as the main medium,passive media interaction,and entertainment oriented media use.The media literacy of hearing-impaired students in the"Dong Yuhui Incident"has shown problems such as passive information collection and selection ability,superficial information understanding ability,emotional information discrimination and evaluation ability,and general information creation and production ability,indicating the urgent need to improve their media literacy to meet the needs of the information society.Therefore,the media literacy of hearing-impaired students should be improved from three aspects:curriculum,teachers,and practice.
