Overseas Translation and Acceptance of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature
The"go global"strategy of Chinese literature is an important part of the"go global"strategy of Chinese culture.In recent years,the Chinese government has launched a series of activities and projects to help Chinese literature"go global",but little effect has been produced.In view of this,this paper takes the dissemination of Chinese modern and contemporary literature as the object of study and analyzes the current situation of the translation and acceptance of Chinese modern and contemporary literature abroad,and the reasons for the current situation are expounded from three aspects:the prejudice of western readers against Chinese literature,the lack of proficiency in translation as well as the poor publication,distribution and dissemination of Chinese modern and contemporary literary works.It is hoped to promote Chinese modern and contemporary literature to"go global"in a more efficient way by highlighting the obstacles.
