Reasons and Countermeasures for the Deficit of Cognition of Labor Rights of Students in Application-oriented Universities
College students'cognition of labor rights is an important issue that needs urgent attention.Distinguishing individual labor rights and collective labor rights, this paper constructs a scale on the cognition of labor rights and interests and analyzes the basic characteristics of college students'cognition of labor rights and the deep reasons behind the lack of cognition based on the survey data of 586 application-oriented college students. The main conclusion can be made like this:generally, the respondents'awareness of college students'labor rights and interests is not high, and the lack of awareness of collective labor rights is higher;further more, among the individual labor rights, the awareness of"the right to labor safety and health protection"is the most lacking and there is obvious inter-group heterogeneity in cognitive impairment, such as gender, personality, college and specialty. The main causes of cognitive deficiency are:self-factors such as college students'weak awareness of safeguarding their rights, single information channel,self-weakness and lack of courage;important objective factors including the lack of government guidance and school-related employment guidance, and the lack of responsibility consciousness of enterprises and trade unions, etc.Based on this, this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions that the four parties should assist each other and make full use of modern technologies such as the Internet to popularize relevant knowledge and promote the awareness of labor rights and interests.
