In the context of the"Belt and Road"Initiative,the importance of cultivating college students'intercultural communicative competence is particularly prominent.Furthermore,new requirements and unprecedented opportunities have been put forward for the cross-cultural education of English in universities.The project uses research methods such as questionnaire surveys and interviews to understand the current situation of students'cross-cultural abilities,fully utilizes the classroom to cultivate students'cross-cultural abilities,encourages students to learn cross-cultural knowledge after class,participate in relevant competitions,and constructs effective models of English cross-cultural education reform in universities from the perspectives of teachers,students,schools,and society through various channels,in order to enhance students'cross-cultural communication abilities,expand their international perspective,and achieve the goal of cultivating humanistic qualities.
