Constructing a Seminar-based Teaching Mode for College English
Seminar-based teaching is an effective teaching method and means for college English teachers to encourage students to actively participate in class.The effective development of seminars in class can not only enrich teaching activities,but also promote students'learning and improve their comprehensive literacy.This paper discusses the results of research on seminar-based teaching in college English:effective classroom discussion is not easy—all good teaching requires great effort.While promoting effective discussion requires pre-incubation,planning,and organization,the effort is definitely worth it,which will make the teaching experience more enjoyable for teachers.It provides teachers with a variety of practical suggestions and implementation strategies to help teachers effectively organize seminars in class and guide students toward specific learning goals.
