Research on the Reform of English Teaching in Higher Vocational Education under the Background of Employment-orientation
As a supplementary form of the higher education system,the essence of higher vocational education is to cultivate professional talents to meet the needs of social development.It is necessary for higher vocational colleges to achieve teaching reform and ensure the modernization of the education system with the continuous advancement of the new curriculum reform.As an important basic subject in the higher vocational education system,English can not only enrich the knowledge content of higher vocational students,but also strengthen their English ability,laying a solid foundation for their subsequent development.Therefore,in the process of carrying out higher vocational English teaching,attention should be paid to its teaching effectiveness,with employment as the goal-oriented approach to achieve students'development,and ensure that students'professional abilities and development paths are in line with employment-oriented thinking.This paper aims to study the reform of vocational English teaching based on employment-orientation,in order to provide reference experience for the cultivation of higher vocational English talents and maintain the overall teaching quality.
