Discussion on the Development and Innovation of Vocational Education Driven by the Integration of Industry and Education
This study aims to explore the direction of vocational education reform and focuses on the challenges within the collaborative development of industry and education in higher vocational institutions to propose solutions that can promote economic and social development. The analysis identifies issues in the integration, such as the imbalance between emphasis on education over industry,a system bias towards formality over substance, and a skewed emphasis on quantity over quality in supply-demand channels. The research centers around the core principles of"talent—skills—development—security",examining how synchronization of disciplines with industry and alignment of specialties with demand can establish a closed-loop system in vocational education. The findings indicate that by realizing the synchronization of disciplines and industries and the matching of majors and needs, adopting the core principles can effectively address the challenges in the collaborative development of industry and education in higher vocational institutions. This innovative vocational education system contributes to promoting sustainable economic and social development.
