The Enlightenment of Dewey's Educational Thought to the Construction of Labor Education Curriculum in Colleges and Universities
As a representative of the progressive education movement in the United States,Dewey put forward the educational views that education is growth,education is life,and education is the reorganization and transformation of personal experience,which constitutes the basic thought of progressive education.He attaches great importance to the growth of students'experience,attaches great importance to the students'life world and other important thoughts of labor education curriculum construction in colleges and universities which has important significance and value.At present,there are some problems in the construction of college labor education curriculum,such as the omission of ontology value and the simplification of connotation value.Labor curriculum should clarify education characteristics and value,clarify the logical starting point of labor education,return to the students'life world,adhere to the principle of combining subjectivity and dominance,deepen the ideological guidance and moral cultivation in curriculum,let the students gain knowledge in practice experience,develop experience,cultivate character,and realize the all-round development.
