A Study on the Teaching Reform of College English Ideological and Political Courses from the Perspective of Production-oriented Approach
The design of college English ideological and political classrooms guided by the Production-oriented Approach(POA)provides a new English teaching and learning model for teachers and students.This paper takes the seventh unit of the"New Era Mingde University English Comprehensive Course 2"as an example,through a combination of the online and offline teaching model,following the three steps of output-driven,input-driven,and production evaluation,and it guides students to think about the collision of Chinese and Western cultures,integrating ideological and political elements into the classroom,and reflecting the concept of"cultivating virtue and cultivating people".Research has found that teachers should design courses based on the accuracy of teaching objectives,systematic content organization,gradual process design,and integrated evaluation and feedback during the teaching process,in order to improve students'English learning efficiency and enhance their cultural confidence.
