Cause Analysis and Corresponding Strategies for English Academic Procrastination Among Independent College Students
English learning ability is an important part of college students'comprehensive quality,which plays a very important role in students'future scientific research and international exchange.College students'academic procrastination behavior seriously affects students'mental health and academic performance.This paper systematically expounds the current situation and main problems of English study procrastination of students in independent colleges,analyzes the causes of procrastination from three aspects:external environment,internal factors and group role,and puts forward countermeasures from three aspects:innovative teaching mode,scientific setting of goals,and creating a good environment,so as to help students overcome the habit of procrastination,enhance their interest in learning,and improve English academic performance.
