A Study on the Era Value of Patriotic Spirit of Nanqiao Mechanics
During the War of Resistance Against Japan,more than 3,000 overseas Chinese from Southeast Asia participated in the"Nanyang Overseas Chinese Mechanic Corps"in order to save their motherland from Japanese invasion.They returned to China to participate in the war,engaging in material transportation work on the Yunnan Myanmar Highway.Nanqiao mechanics transported a large amount of military supplies and ensured the smooth flow of China's lifeline during the war.The patriotic sentiments of Nanqiao mechanics have become outstanding representatives of patriotism.In the new historical period,inheriting and promoting the patriotic spirit of the Nanqiao mechanics will build a spiritual bond that unites all Chinese people,and provide strong spiritual impetus for achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
