An Exploration on Improving College Students' Social Adaptability Based on University-locality Integration—A Case Study in Food Microbiology Teaching
To improve college graduates'social adaptability,promote their employment,enterprises'transformation and regional economic prosperity,then build a model of integrated and shared development between an university and local government,a new path of teaching innovation was explored in a local applied undergraduate university,with the teaching of food microbiology as an example.The innovation was conducted from optimizing teaching content,changing teaching pattern,integrating educational resources,adjusting assessment system.Firstly,college students'specialized skills and self-confidence should be improved.Secondly,their multi-thinking and self-awareness ability should be trained to expand employment channel.Thirdly,practice and experience teaching should be carried out to shape their spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship by integrating various local resources.Fourthly,the examination of the mastery of college students'knowledge and skills should be strengthened to improve their ability of cooperation,communication and anti-setback.The four teaching reform measures may effectively help to improve graduates'personal comprehensive qualities,make them accelerate their transition towards professionals,grow their sense of belonging,achievement,and happiness after employment,resolve employment difficulties of enterprises,and significantly promote a high-quality development of local economy and society.
