This paper analyzes the importance and principles of building a sound ideological and political education system for college students in the new era,and elaborates on the problems existing in ideological and political education work in universities.On this basis,it is proposed to fully leverage students'subjectivity,pay attention to their ideas,and infiltrate a sense of"responsibility"in ideological and political education;deeply reform the content and methods of ideological and political education,highly integrate textbook cases with real life and enhance insights;systematically utilize modern information technology,combined with social hot news,to correctly interpret ideological policies.Promoting the spirit of democracy and guiding students to expand their thinking patterns in the process of"equal discussion"are the paths to build a system of ideological and political education for college students.
