Party History Education for College Students:Content,Characteristics and Approaches
In February 2021,General Secretary Xi Jinping called for launching a campaign on Party history learning and education among all its members to motivate the whole Party to remain true to the original aspiration and founding mission,and to strengthen the construction of the Party in the new era.College students are at a crucial stage in the formation of their world views and values,and having a correct understanding of the Party's history can guide their future learning and life endeavors.This paper elucidates the necessity of Party history education,its primary content,and analyzes its distinctive features,namely,the complexity brought by the mobile Internet,the uniqueness of college students'personalities,and the contemporaneity of Party history education.Finally,it proposes strategies and approaches at various levels,including universities,teachers,grassroots organizations,and student Party members,to promote the study of Party history education.This paper offers valuable insights for universities aiming to enhance the effectiveness of Party history education for college students.
