Translation is an important part of college English teaching,involving many translation theories and skills.In order to truly cultivate applied English translation talents,translation theories and skills should be fully integrated into college English translation teaching.Based on this,this paper first briefly elaborates on the necessity of integrating theories and techniques into college English translation teaching,explores the theories and techniques involved in college English translation teaching,and further proposes effective strategies for integrating theories and techniques into college English translation teaching for reference from four aspects:practical activities,cultural and ideological education,daily accumulation,and flipped classrooms.
