Patriotism education is an eternal theme of the country and an important content of ideological and political education of college students.The occurrence of public emergencies has a huge impact on people's life safety,property loss,ecological environment and social security,which make the patriotism education of college students also face a new task.This paper expounds the main forms of patriotism spirit of college students,analyzes the difficulties faced by college students in cultivating patriotism spirit,and puts forward the ways to cultivate the patriotism spirit of college students under the background of public emergencies.The research results are conducive to enriching the content of theoretical achievements of patriotism education,which can provide a favorable reference for the patriotism education of college students under the background of public emergencies.
