Research on Performance Evaluation of Provincial Higher Vocational Colleges
The PCA-DEA model is used to evaluate the performance of provincial higher vocational colleges.Taking S province in western China as an example, the study found that the overall school-running efficiency of higher vocational colleges in this province has not reached DEA effectiveness, and individual colleges have the situation of input redundancy or insufficient output, and the school-running level still has room for improvement.Through the projection analysis of invalid DMU,it is shown that some higher vocational colleges in S province have relatively small investment in school scale, high redundancy of social service output, insufficient output of teaching results, and no significant impact of international cooperation and exchange.According to the empirical analysis,it is suggested to appropriately expand the scale of provincial higher vocational colleges;strengthen the integration of industry and education in the province, and deepen the school-enterprise cooperative education mechanism;optimize the resource allocation of provincial higher vocational colleges and strive to enhance the impact of international cooperation in running schools.
