Exploration on the Cultivation Path of Cultural Confidence in College English Teaching under the Background of"Great Ideological and Political Education"
In the cultivation of higher education talents,the cultivation of students'ideological and political literacy occupies an important position.College English is both instrumental and humanistic,containing rich cultural content from both eastern and western cultures.It not only broadens students'horizons,but also provides strong motivation for cultivating cultural confidence through learning from both cultures.Starting from the connotation of great ideological and political education and cultural confidence,this paper elaborates on the importance of cultivating students'cultural confidence in college English teaching.Focusing on the problems in cultivating cultural confidence in current college English teaching,measures are proposed from the aspects of constructing a comprehensive education pattern of great ideological and political education,developing a content system of great ideological and political courses,and innovating the path of great ideological and political cultural education.
