In the context of rapid development of information technology,short video platforms have become the main way for college students to obtain information.With the continuous updating and advancement of short video algorithms,college students are able to obtain data information that they are concerned about,fond of,and interested in.However,the values,outlook on life,and worldview conveyed by short videos are constantly influencing students'thinking concepts and behavioral norms,bringing huge challenges to the development of ideological and political education.Ideological and political education has distinct dynamic and humanistic characteristics,and can self adjust and optimize with the development of the times.Therefore,combining the function and values of short videoes for ideological and political education,this paper analyzes the practical problems of TikTok short videoes enabling ideological and political education,and proposes scientific application paths and strategies.
