Research on Information Literacy of College Foreign Language Teachers in the Context of New Liberal Arts
Under the background of the construction of"new liberal arts",the rapid development of information technology has put forward new requirements and challenges for foreign language teaching.Foreign language teachers in colleges and universities need to integrate foreign language teaching with information technology in their teaching process while improving their professional quality and their information literacy.In the context of new liberal arts,this paper analyzes the current situation of information literacy of college foreign language teachers,and explores specific methods and strategies to improve information literacy of these teachers from two aspects:internal motivation and external environment,so as to better prepare them for the challenge of"new liberal arts and information technology"to improve their information literacy.
