A Survey and Research on the Digital Teaching Ability of Young and Middle-aged Teachers in Applied Undergraduate Universities in Jiangsu Province
The digital teaching ability of young and middle-aged teachers in applied undergraduate universities has become one of the key factors affecting the quality of applied talent cultivation in the digital economy era.The paper surveyed the digital teaching abilities of 311 young and middle-aged teachers from 17 applied undergraduate universities in Jiangsu Province.The results showed that most teachers already possess the basic abilities of digital teaching,but the innovation of digital teaching models and teaching research are the weakest.This paper believes that we can take four measures:adopting policies to improve the development of higher education and deepening our understanding of digital teaching capabilities;adjusting the training content of university teachers and strengthening the enhancement of digital teaching capabilities;building a digital technology teaching environment and promoting digital teaching practice;encouraging the reform and innovation of teaching models and carrying out digital teaching research,to effectively enhance the digital teaching ability of young and middle-aged teachers in applied undergraduate universities.
