A Blended Teaching Model for Higher Vocational College English Based on the Theory of Ecological Nourishment
This study explores how to construct an environment and resources for language learning that are more in line with the perceptual and cognitive habits of language learners from the perspective of ecological nourishment. The ecological nourishment theory emphasizes the influence of the environment on behavior and considers environmental factors as important factors influencing behavior. The nourishment provided by the environment refers to factors such as what the environment presents, the information it provides, and interpersonal relationships.Higher vocational college students have practical, diverse and career oriented learning behaviors in foreign language learning. The language teaching model under the ecological nourishment theory focuses more on an ecological language learning environment, diverse learning resources, and active student participation. It can provide new ideas and methods for language teaching research and practice, provide new perspectives and inspirations for language teaching, help promote innovation and development of language teaching, and improve students'language abilities and comprehensive qualities.
